Do you qualify?
Registered UK charities and non-profit organisations are eligible. We ask for documentation confirming your charitable or non-profit status when you apply — for most organisations that is your registration number with whichever regulator covers you: the Charity Commission in England and Wales, OSCR in Scotland, or the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
Not formally registered but clearly running a good cause — a community group, a school project, a volunteer-run service? Apply anyway and tell us what you do. We would rather read your case than turn you away on a technicality.
Your supporters' data stays in the UK
Charities handle donor records, volunteer details, sometimes safeguarding information — data where the question "where does this physically live?" has a real answer your trustees may have to give.
Everything runs in our Manchester data centre and does not leave the UK in the ordinary course of operations. UKNode Ltd is registered in England and Wales, registered with the ICO as a data controller, and your contract sits under English law and UK jurisdiction. We sign a Data Processing Agreement on request — useful when a funder or a local authority asks for one.
